Alberta Ferretti builds the perfect bridge between utilitarian style and romanticism in her latest Resort 2022 Collection

In her latest 2022 Resort Collection, the Italian designer Alberta Ferretti presented through her work the perfect mix between city life and escape for the holidays.

With this concept in mind, we see a touch f utilitarian aesthetic, with the use of python and sequins effects, robust textures in a palette that perfectly melanges organic notes of ochre and sage green.

The collection offers capes, trench coats, wide trousers with front knots worn with linen shirts. The suits are marked with unique floral and geometric motifs of Sangallo. One of the many protagonists of the collection is the materials that were chosen: from viscose-linen for tailoring to canvas outerwear with stone-washed effects. Python motifs decorate the pants, cargo pants, and bomber denim jackets.

Ferretti seems to have found, through this collection, the perfect balance between practicality and romanticism, perhaps giving birth to modern-day romanticism.
