Louis Vuitton and its Newly Unveiled Capucines 2021 Leather Goods

On 22nd March of 2021, Louis Vuitton introduced a brand-new collection of dedicated Capucines leather goods campaign. With the photographer Steven Meisel’s inspiration, the campaign depicts French actor Léa Seydoux matching classic Capucines bag with an extremely simple and pure background setting. According to the series of photos for this campaign, Louis Vuitton portrays an intimate interaction between a woman and her bag, which is a timeless relationship throughout fashion history. As Léa Seydoux claimed: “The Capucines represents the essence of French savoir-faire. I’m very honoured to be the Capucines ambassador as it’s a handbag I love and wear all the time.”

Louis Vuitton is a historical brand, its most significant and the oldest store is based in Rue Neuve-des-Capucines, which is where the inspiration of the bag’s name comes from. Through the design, the bag contains a number of diverse crafted elements, as well as the special selection of leathers used for it, which are extremely soft and noble. Louis Vuitton’s ambition is not merely making a well-designed bag, but a timeless icon and life-long companion with high quality, in which it expresses a great sense of classic, modernity and tradition.
