For Dior’s SS21 menswear collection, Kim Jones collaborated with Ghanaian artist Amoako Boafo, the silhouette gives a bizarre and authentic sense. Jones and Boafo took inspiration from colourful paintings and jacquard-pattern prints, which made each piece in the collection full of intimate and cordial dialogue. The new concept of invention and creation reflected the special allure of menswear, and the duo of fashion designer and artist created a sparkle and expressed a sense of urban elegance which expands in our everyday style options. The fabrics in this collection appear rather like pieces of canvas, with classic or monochrome tones on, which show an audacious attitude and timeless design.
