Gender fusion at Odeur’s A/W ’16

For the A/W ’16 season, the Swedish designer duo Odeur created a sleek, yet striking and expressive collection, introduced at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Berlin in January 2016.

A high quality material mix, the layering of garments and the deliberate selection of subtle colours like black, grey and white define Odeurs appearance. The use of a rich blue as well as geometrical prints in some of the A/W ‘16 pieces are subtly blending in with the combinations of patterns and styles.

Known for their unisex clothing, the designers set the scene with same and opposite sex formed couples, dominating the runway in an effortlessly cool way.

The brand gives a perfect impression of what modern, ingenious avant-garde fashion looks like without being over the top or obtrusive.

In 2006, Petter Hollström, who was later joined by Gorjan Lauseger, called Odeur Studios into life. Unlike others, the brand uses individual scents as their trademark instead of a visible logotype. Initially distributed in Sweden and Japan, Odeur’s clothing is available in 20 different countries today.
